Our rates this season have increased to $450 for Football and Cheer. Each season our player assessment, field fees and operating costs increase. When you pay your $450 for registration you will receive $150 in raffle tickets that you can sell to recoup some of your fees, or keep them and try to win one of the big prizes on opening day!

Through the efforts of our new Cheer Coordinator, we have a cheer program that will be able to deliver an experience no other league can offer. We will be highly competitive with a goal of competing at Nationals and the tall order of preparing the girls for High School Cheer. We are very happy to say that our Cheerleaders will be working at PCM one day per week, aside from their Edison practices, to include tumbling and learn skills for the next level. Challenger Football and Cheer will grow this season and include kids of all abilities and ages. Edison High School is actively working with HB Pop Warner to reach out to the community. We are working with several organizations to add more experiences to our challenger division:
1) theundefeated.org is going to include our challenger kids in the Mr. Irrelevant NFL Event Mid July
2) Edison High School is going to allow our Challenger Athletes to play at Half Time in front of a few thousand fans. How great is that?
3) We are hosting, once again, the Challenger camp including NFL Players early August
4) First weekend of November all the Challenger kids from the OEC will play in Anaheim Stadium! Awesome right?

75% of our teams made the playoffs last year and we are excited about continuing the success this season! We have several new coaches this season. Each went through a fairly vigorous 4 hour interview process over two days. The selection panel was organized, prepared and included a varsity coach from Edison. We understand that the core of our league is our Head Coaches and it’s something we took very serious when selecting our new coaches. I believe everyone will see the difference this season!
Mighty Mite will have playoffs for the first time. This will be a great opportunity for all the younger kids to compete.
All of our equipment has shipped to Riddell to be reconditioned for the 2015 season.
During the first weekend of December HB Pop Warner will host other cities, local and out of state, for the first Surf City Bowl. This event will include football, cheer and challenger!
We are including Ocean View High School this year and all the kids will have the opportunity to play and cheer in their Stadium. No, we are NOT moving our Charger program! We are adding Seahawks! It’s my hope that all the kids will have the opportunity to play in that stadium this season and a few lucky teams will have the opportunity to play under the lights.

There will be 2 football camps offered. The first will be June 1st and second July 6th. Each Camp will run 5 days and will focus on speed, agility and Heads Up. This will also allow players to work with all the head coaches in our league. Good stuff.
Our first practice is August 1st and will be here before you know it.
